Chemical peeling is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin that is typically performed on the face/neck. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to “blister” and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. The new skin is also temporarily more sensitive to the sun.
The superficial peels (agera) are a great way to get started as no time off work or hiding out of the sun is required after having treatment. You will more than likely be a little red for a couple of hours after but nothing a bit of 100% mineral powder can’t hide. For a few days following the peel you might have some dry parts on the face but again we recommend medical grade skincare products to combat this.
- Reduction of Acne scarring.
- Reduces pigmentation.
- Removes dead skin.
- Reduces fine lines/wrinkles.
For the best results it is normally recommended to complete a course of 3-4 peels spread 2 weeks apart.
